Alley Cat Tea was first introduced in 2002 at Ashburn's Alley Cafe in Smithville, TN. Since then, the homemade blend of 50% assorted fruit juices and freshly brewed black tea has become a tasty southern staple for thoes of all ages to enjoy!
FRUIT TEA NEVER TASTED SO GOOD!!
Although we won't give away the family secret, Alley Cat Tea adds a fruity twist to the strong herbal taste of brewed black tea. Subtle hints of peach, pineapple and orange are just a few of the delicious flavors your tastebuds will enjoy while sipping on this original southern tradition sweetened with PURE cane sugar.
Since Alley Cat's first beginnings at Ashburn's Alley Cafe, Owener Stephen Ashburn has been determined to make Alley Cat Tea a hit "for those from ages 1 to 100," Ashburn promises. The Alley Cat himself was inspired by a certain cat at the Cafe who loved to meander through the Alley.
The Alley Cat is wandering his way in to more and more local retailers and vendors everyday! In Murfreesboro, Alley Cat Tea can be found at Dwight's Mini-Mart at MTSU, Pa Bunk's Natural Market, Reeves-Sain, Honey Baked Ham Murfreesboro, Broad Street Market, and Parsley's Market. In Nashville, you can find the cat at multiple food trucks downtown, Porter Road Butcher, and many more to come!
